Certified Food Protection Manager - Class & Exam

$175

This course is in-person and includes a Study Guide, Practice Exam with Answers, and other valuable resources. Students are taught in a comfortable classroom setting with a relaxed and engaging teaching style. Each student receives a thermometer (and other goodies) to use in class and to take back to their kitchen! 

Certified Food Protection Manager - Exam only

$120

For students who choose not to take the Certified Food Protection Manager course, this is an option for the proctored exam only. I will come to your location and you can use your own computer and Wifi connection to take the exam. Cost includes online exam voucher and private proctor (travel may incur mileage charges). 

Food Handler - Class & Exam

$50

This course is a great introduction to food safety and is appropriate for all ages. The basic course is approximately 2 hours and includes the exam, OR I can customize this course for your group for an additional fee! Examples of customizations: science experiments, games, activities, specialized focus, etc. Minimum 10 students, please!

Advanced Food Safety Training with Foodborne Illness Investigation

This course is for those who want to increase their food safety knowledge and explore how to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. This 6-hour course is immersive and interactive,  and includes activities and case studies. Students of all backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to attend- this is also perfect for food establishments and health departments looking for team building exercises.

What You Need To Know: Opening a Food Establishment

Have you decided to open a food establishment and you have no idea what to expect from the Health Department? I can help you navigate the process for any form of food establishment. This course will lay the foundation for what you may encounter and how to prepare for it, what you will absolutely need, and how to anticipate what the Health Department might ask of you along the way. We will discuss floor plans, menu planning, flow of food, choosing vendors, inspections, etc. 

Active Managerial Control

$125

This 4-hour course is designed to help managers and owners build confidence and understand how to develop Active Managerial Control processes in their business. Understand how to effectively implement temp logs and other standard operating procedures to build a food safety focused culture within your operation and reduce the risk of foodborne illness. 

Food Trucks

$120

This 3-hour course will give you what you need to know to open and operate a food safety compliant food truck. This course is intended to assist and guide a new operator through the process of applying for a mobile food establishment permit and how to assess and manage the food safety risks in your business.

Residential Kitchens

$85

This 2-hour course will give you a great foundation to understand how to open and operate a compliant residential kitchen business. Learn what foods you can and cannot prepare, what you need to know to apply for permits, how to safely transport and display at farmer's markets and craft shows, best practices for food safety in your home, and so much more!
